Hise's Gettin' Jiggy Wit' It is one of our most productive big fish flies. It possesses all the fish catching elements- movement and pulsation, eyes and silhouette. Fish it in low, clear water or high, turbid water with similar results. Best fished at the end of an indicator rig which not only gets the other fly/flies down but doesnt get hung up on the bottom as frequently due to the fly riding hook point up. We believe trout love these because they mimic a dead or disabled forage fish rolling down the stream belly up. Most of our forage fish have stark white bellies so it seems like a good explanation for its effectiveness.
