Our new HVO Tri-Spectrum polarized fishing sunglasses are the best sunglasses for fishing I've ever worn, and I've worn a lot. They're the only sunglasses made exclusively for fishing, and are exclusive to Orvis. When I first wore them, I couldn't believe how well they worked. They worked so well I compared them to all my other glasses, literally standing near the water and finding an object, hopefully a fish, and swapping out several glasses to see the difference compared to Tri-Spectrums. Every time, I was able to see more beneath the waters surface, with more clarity and better contrast than with any glasses I'd ever tried.

Tri-Spectrum Features:
By enhancing light levels in the primary colors, contrast enhancement throughout the spectrum, not just in the blue area.
The blue light that is enhanced at the lower end is the part of blue light that does not blur, the light blue part is blocked.
We see contrast by seeing the edges of color changes and the Tri-Spectrum lenses give you three of these areas, not just one.
Works like sharpening of a digital picture, where adjacent pixels are darkened and lightened where there is a strong color gradient.
There is no other lens like this on the market, and this patented process is an Orvis exclusive for North America.
Hot coat AR coating that is permanent. Many lenses are cold-coated, which wears off quickly. No polarized lens can perform up to its full potential without superior AR coatings.
Decentered lenses so there is no distortion when using 8-base (wrap) lenses. Not all lenses sold today are decentered, only the best ones.
Superior Smudge Block hydrophobic coating, which not only beads off water, it lessens salt stains and any oil or salt is easily wiped off with any old cloth and no fresh water needed to clean lenses.
Optical quality glass lenses won't distort with changes in temperature.
