J:sonSystem
Just like all other fly tyers, I’ve experienced joy and satisfaction when fishing with my own flies, but I’ve also experienced frustration when dry flies wear out too quickly and refuse to float. Not to mention all the flies and nymphs which I thought were absolutely perfect–only to be snubbed by fickle trout in my home stamping grounds at Säveån Lake in Sweden.
This was something that really irritated me and kept me awake at night. Wasn’t there any way to make dry flies and nymphs which in fact look and behave like real insects and also tolerate rough treatment when fishing…?
The end result was that I developed a way to create these types of flies. I call it the J:sonSystem.

When using my system you’ll be able to tie realistic dry flies which leave a perfect impression on the water surface and which are virtually unsinkable. Nymphs you make with the J:son System offer a natural silhouette and are perceived as real insects. Flies created with the J:sonSystem are durable, so to achieve the whole point with fly fishing, which is to fish.
