M&M Midge Pupa

Midges have to get from the bottom of the river to the top. The last stage is the pupa and this is when the trout tend to hammer them the hardest. On cold winter days, when the trout rises are numerous and you're not having much luck on the surface, drop down one life stage and put on this pupa fly pattern. Chances are you'll see a big increase in hooked fish.
