This Pro Flexi Needle is a high quality tempered carbon steel needle ground flat on both sides to give locking edges that will keep any Pro Sportfisher tube, or any other tube for that matter in a firm grip, and still be easy to remove when the fly is tied. The Pro Flexi needles fit all fly tying vices, and this combined with a very low weight is why the Pro Sportfisher tube needles are the reference tool for serious fly tyers across the globe and have been for the past decade.
The Flexineedle size Large is the most popular size and works seamlessly with the majority of Pro Sportfisher Tube tube fly supplies.
The Small, Large, and XL Pro Tube Flexineedles are an essential tool for using Pro Tube Flexitubes and Mini Tubes. The Small Flexineedle has a smaller tang, making it a better fit for certain vices. The newly introduced XL Predator Flexineedle is designed specifically for Classic Large and Classic Predator XL tubes, offering extra length and stiffness for enhanced stability, especially when tying larger flies. Note that these tubes do not fit well on HMH tube mandrels.
This Pro Tube adaptor securely holds all Pro Tube tubes in place. The Flexineedle features a flat rear end and a rounded front where the Pro Tube slides on, wedging it into position to prevent spinning while you tie your tube fly.
