Hise's Articulated Helgi the Hellgrammite
Let me introduce you to Helgi, the Hellgrammite. Hellgrammites, or toe-biters, are the larvae of the eastern dobsonflies. They are aquatic, somewhat flat in shape, and usually are some shade of dark brown, tan, or black. The head is equipped with a pair of large, sharp pincers that can deliver a painful bite.
