Hise's Burrowing Mayfly Nympf is a nymph pattern which was designed to imitate a multitude of burrowing mayflies found throughout the country; trout, steelhead, smallmouth bass, they all love it. It is most effective when high stick or indicator nymphed under a floating line but also works quite well when "crawled" along the river bottom near silty areas. Or, put it in your showcase.
