Orvis 1856 Bamboo Fly Rod 805-3. This 8' 5-weight rod was inspired by fishing larger Western rivers, and is at home on waters from the Delaware to the Ruby. It has a hollow build which means you get a lightweight rod with less vibration and bounce. Comes complete with a downlocking nickel silver reel seat with Vermont maple burl insert and a 6½" full wells cork grip. It has a progressive flex so you can under-line it for a faster feel or over-line for a slower feel. This gives you an opportunity to play with preferred loading for various situations.
