Rosenbauer Parachute Beetle
In some rivers, especially on smaller streams, up to 80% of a trout's summer diet is terrestrial insects - and much of that is beetles. Angler of the Year, Tom Rosenbauer, created a great beetle pattern. Try a size 14 first, and if that doesn't work, go next with a 16. Beetles are also great strike indicators to use with small nymphs.
