Spirit River Estaz Chenille has a twisted core with wrapped mylar. It is imported from Europe.
It makes all sorts of patterns look better. Spirit River Estaz Chenille makes great looking Woolly Buggers and such. Grande colors are pictured but are the same colors in the Petite and Regular.
Estaz Petite is perfect for bonefish patterns, buggers, and nymphs.
Estaz Medium was popularized by Steve Probasco. Wind it like wet fly hackle (folding the fibers back with each wrap) for the best results. Use for woolly buggers, nymphs, salmon/steelhead, and saltwater patterns.
Estaz Grande is a longer, fuller version. All the colors are dyed over pearl. Ideal for producing large profile saltwater and bass flies. Carded.
