Very handy hackle pliers
I really like these pliers. Jaws are non-slip. Very light weight so when you let go of the pliers they do not break off the hackle but have enough weight to hold the hackle in place with small flies. I've only tied a few dozen flies with this tool but it is now my go too hackle pliers. You will still break off a few overly brittle hackle stems but nothing can protected you from that except maybe some moisture. I thought it was expensive for such a low tech tool but now feel it's well worth the money. TyFlyz has in fact designed a better mousetrap. Nice lines also.
